About Kuriko

Born in Tokyo (Japan) Kuriko Tsugawa started playing bass at the age of fifteen. As a founding member of the band UoU, she has sustained international fame and respect by her peers in the international field of music with their debut album “Home”(Tippin’ Records, 2010), having reached #1 for two consecutive weeks on the JazzWeek World national radio charts in October of 2010. She had worked with Walter Blanding, Anthony Wonsey, Daisuke Abe. Also worked with Mike LeDonne, Rodney Green, Warren Wolf, Tia Fuller, Marcus Printup, Lee Pearson and many more.
